Appalachia Reach Out (ARO) Mission Trip
July 12 - 18
Compassionate Ministries is a key component of the Church of the Nazarene. Visit this link to see what the Church of the Nazarene is doing to meet needs on a global level.
Locally, Beacon of Hope Church of the Nazarene gives use of our facility each Thursday at 4:00 pm to an Alcoholics Anonymous group. Each Tuesday, a Sexual Addiction recovery group meets at 7:00 pm. We also send an annual donation to the Moon Township food bank and Choices Pregnancy Center in Coraopolis. Some of our members volunteer through hospital ministries providing care and support to patients.
We participate on a weekly basis in what we call Care Ministries, which is our people showing love and compassion in a tangible way to our local ministry area. We are eagerly seeking ways that we can minister to real needs in the Moon Township/Coraopolis area. Any suggestions on how we can meet needs in real ways to our community would be appreciated. Feel free to email us at pastorgreg@beaconnaz.org with your suggestions.
