Offerings

The offerings of Beacon of Hope Community Church of the Nazarene go towards continuing the mission: to make Christlike Disciples in the Nations, as well as in our local area. The church is funded solely by the tithes and offerings of its members and regular attendees and the occasional offering from other sources. Around 83% of offerings stay in the local church/community, and around 17% of offerings go outside of the local church/community to assist on the district, regional, and global level of the Church of the Nazarene, with 5.5% of all offerings received going to the World Evangelism Fund.

In the local church, we take many special offerings for missions-related ministries. In fact, each month has a mission-related special offering. February and September are months that we take up offerings for Alabaster (used for real estate and buildings on the mission field), June is World Mission Broadcast Month, and December is Nazarene Compassionate Ministries month just to name a few.

Anyone wishing to contribute to the ministry of the church may Give Online or send their contributions to the church mailing address. The Beacon of Hope Community Church of the Nazarene is a registered not-for-profit 501(c)3 corporation and all donations to the church in which tangible goods are not received in turn are tax-deductible.
